There is no doubt that you are with God. You were a good man and a super father. I was lucky to be your son.

Dear Linda,
There are no words to adequately express my sorrow. Phil was a true gentleman and one of the kindest people I have ever met. I am so very sorry... Sandy Ackerson

Phil and I go back a long way. He reviewed, at DES, some of my septic plans early on. He was always very helpful when I had a question or needed some help. Phil, you will be missed, but you have left us feeling better for having known you.

Dear Linda

The Lord took Phil to be with Him in heaven, because he didn't want him to suffer any more on earth. Phil will be waiting for you in heaven.

Dear Linda, children and grands.
Phil was the best boyhood friend anyone could have. His parents dropped him at my house on the way to work and many mornings he was my second wake up call. We learned to ski together and joined the first Pinkerton track team together. He helped me talk my parents into letting three not-quite-adults go to Mt. Snow for a ski weekend. My parents saw him as the responsible one. He was always positive and often saw the best that could come from me. I am sad that our adult paths kept us apart but I cherish the few moments that we managed to share in the last year. On a two-hour visit this February I overstayed my welcome but I am very glad for those memories. I will miss his positive and generous spirit.
