Dear Irene and John,
I was so sorry to learn about Charlie's passing. I worked with him for many years at NADC in Warminster, PA. He was a true gentleman, and as kind and decent a person as I have ever known. We played pinochle together during lunch hour for 10 years. (He was an expert player in addition to all of his other wonderful qualities). My deepest condolences. My heart and thoughts are with you.

Less than one week ago, no one could have anticipated Charlie's passing. His physical characteristics showed that he was a bundle of energy, youthful in his appearance, and in great health. He routinely displayed his valued inner qualities, among which were his pleasant and friendly demeanor, his interest to participate in stimulating conversations, and his genuine love of life. To have known Charlie for only a short while felt like having known him for decades, he was that personable. His captivating smile was a signature expression, and he was a savvy Bridge Player by all standards. The members of our Bridge Group were the direct beneficiaries of having known Charlie as well as we did.
Our prayers are with Charlie, his family and his many friends. The mere mention of his name in the years ahead will bring instant smiles to our faces and warm reflections of a friend who left us much too soon. He was that special to all of us. We shall miss him dearly.

My heart broke when I heard the news of Mr Banionis. I know how close, my good friend, John was with his dad and the news brought me to tears. I hope John and Mrs. Banionis will find peace in their hearts through the love they had for each other. The photo here of Mr. Banionis was the first time I met John's parents. I took the photo of the three of them and it has been the contact photo in my phone for John since then that day.
