For as long as I can remember, my holidays and summers were spent in Philly. From guessing the temperature that was going to be on the bank sign while taking Grump to work, to him telling me my chocolate pudding had spiders in it so I would give it to him!! I can hear him now saying ahhhhhh Gordy, you're full of it! We've all grown and military/jobs have moved us further and further away, which is the hardest part. Grump was full of life with a heart of gold. He will be missed, and I hope him and ole Gordy can get along up there!! I love you Grump!! RIP

Uncle Grump. I was young and a step-child coming into your family. You and Aunt Mae and Uncle Hedley and everyone opened your arms and took us right in. You loved us. We loved you. You taught me humor and happiness. Such a happy guy you were. You always had stories. I am so glad you were in my life...in everyone's life. There is no way anyone could have met you and not been changed by knowing you. See. You changed the world. That funny happy guy will always be a part of me. always. love you.

Ok so I am the youngest out of my generation, so I did not have the time with him that others did. However every trip to Philly there he was with the HUGEST heart and smile I have ever seen. I have one that stays with me all time, Him telling me that there were bugs in my chocolate pudding that I was eating. I was only like 6 so I kinda freaked out lol. Bw that and the singing and dancing, I will miss your smiling face Uncle Grump, but I know you are up there smiling down on all of us. LOVE you.

RIP Edward (also known as Grump) from your Southern family. Though the years have kept us all separated by distance, you and the rest of our Northern family have never been far from our fondest memories and love. I know the Angels won't have to be told that while you were with us down here, you were ALWAYS the best looking guy on the beach'. We love you. Rest in Peace.
