George was a good friend to everyone at the Delaware River Yacht Club. He always had a smile and cheered up any room he entered. The club membership sends their condolences to the family. We'll truly miss him.

So sad to hear of George's passing. He was a good friend to my dad, Mike Simmons. I remember George always stopping by our house or Dad's shop. He attended many of our family events and always had a great time on the dance floor. George was always kindhearted, a true friend to my Dad and had that very distinctive voice that I recognized each time he called. You will be missed George. My deepest condolences to his entire family and everyone he knew and hearts he touched.
