Water Tower, Cardinal Dougherty, Gumps, Venetian, Valley Green, Bocci, BroadAxe, Old Sunken Gardens, MLP, Crane's, McNally's, Legion, Shore, Wissahickon, Irish Center, Fingers, Brittingham's, Campbell's, and so many other places too numerous to mention where I would see the wave, the smile, and listen to some of the greatest stories ever-told, along with the "You know who I just ran into" and so it would go on for hours ... so many times even in church @ Consolation / Holy Cross. On 1/12/2018 @ 2:30 PM I will honor a veteran I knew by "honoring the sound and sounding the honor" (playing taps), and after will retire to the American Legion # 107 in Palm Bay, Florida raise a glass (or two) and remember a friend. Until we meet again old bud.

To the entire Lapworth family: I am truly sorry for your loss. I remember Mr. Lapworth vividly and he was always kind to me. He always made me laugh. I hope you can find peace during this difficult time.

George was a kind, generous gentleman and I was shocked to hear of his death. It was a privilege to know him. May he find solace in the continuation of his life. Marie, Tara, Carrie and Lance - you are in my prayers.
