I met Dr. Bob In 1992 at the age of 22. I was just out of college and I was new to the work field. I worked along side of Dr. Bob for 2 years and
which became the begining of a great friendship. Everyday I would rush to work to share the space with Dr. Bob meaning, we shared a cubicle for the time that we worked together. Dr. Bob and I would have long conversations about work, life and his experiences as a teacher and counselor. He shared all of these life experiencies with me
and I would like to say how greatful that I am that Mrs. Dolye shared his with the world and me. It is not often the you meet a humble giant full of wisdom, courage and strength as Dr. Bob. I can remember the days that we would sit and talk and he would freely share wisdom with me that you just cant get just any where. I am glad to have met such a man who was so great. I was 22 when we met and we talked off and on for the past 21 years. Dr. Bob and Mrs. Doyle attended my wedding and ordination as a clergyman. I am eternally grateful for all he has shared with me. Never have I met a man of such great stature, poise and discipline. Dr. Bob was an avid reader and inspired me and other to always grab a good book. Dr. Bob spent several years teaching history and he would share his vast knowledge with me. I remember the days that we would get away for lunch to run errands. Dr. Bob and I would talk the entire time. He never wasted a momement and he sometimes felt that he didnt have enough time to finish our great conversations. He and his wife were definitely a great inspiration to me as a family man. In life there are rare glimses of what marriage is about. I am glad to have met the Doyles and to have witnessed humbleness and greatness. Dr. Bob will greatly be missed.
