Rest in peace.

Harold was one of a kind. One of the kindest most giving people I ever met. If I can be half the man he was I would be very proud of myself Rip Harold.

He made us pancakes for dinner or mystery meatloaf whenever he was in charge, and I still remember the assembly line school lunch bologna and cheese sandwiches he would line up and put in the freezer when Mom was in the hospital delivering one of the ten of us. Dad seemed like he could do it all, including delicately balancing ten kids, suitcases, bikes, and fishing poles into our Buick station wagon for our yearly trips to Wildwood. There in Wildwood were some of my favorite memories, like teaching us to catch the perfect wave, touch football games, beach combing, and boardwalk bike rides. He was a friend to all who knew him, and never forgot a name or face. People often relay to me a story of how he picked them up in rainstorm and gave them a ride, or jumped out of bed at two in the morning to jump a battery in a neighbors car. He had a quick wit, always a smile on his face, and a song in his heart. He would say in times like this, that it didn't matter how you paid respect in times of death, but how you treated people while alive. Dad you did a great job.

Mrs Klenk and Family. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Mr. Klenk was a nice guy always smiling and helping wherever needed. May God bless you all and give you the comfort and strength you need at this time. May you find comfort with family and friends sharing wonderful memories. Mr. Klenk may he rest in peace.
