I find I am very late, unfortunately, to be writing anything. . . Harry Butson was a close family friend of my parents, my pediatrician, and also was my doctor of choice for my children. I will never forget his gentle and caring manner. Today I tried to find him and am terribly saddened to see that I am too late. My condolences to Holly, Harry, and Timmy. How I wish I had attempted to find him and touch base earlier. I shall always remember him fondly.

Dr. Butson was my pediatrician when I was a child, My parents Tommie (rip) and Joanne Morrison thought the world of Dr. Butson. I compared him to my children's pediatricians until I found someone like Dr. Butson. My parents were concerned with me when I was 1 years old because I was unable to walk. Dr. Butson took one look at me and told them I was not the problem, they were. He took me in his arms and stood me up on the floor and guess what? I walked! He told my parents to put me down and I will never be a great dancer (He was right) but I will not have a problem walking or running. I am so glad the beginning of my life was filled with Dr. Butson because he til this day fills my spirit with smiles and joyful memories. My father was an awesome dad and another male in the beginning of my life until I turned 18 (47 now) was just as awesome. Thank you for everything you did and who you are, you touched all of the Morrison's lives!

I am 64 years old and was born in Chestnut Hill Hospital. My Mother always has told me that I was one of Dr. Butson's first patients. He came to our house in Wyndmoor many times for me and my younger brother. I have vivid memories of Dr. Butson, the office and the staff. I was a patient until my college years. Further, Dr. Butson was the pediatrician for my 3 children in the 80's until he retired. A great man who my family will forever be thankful to. Rest in peace.
