Jay and I enjoyed talking and dealing with WW2 military collectibles mainly on a history level. I enjoyed knowing him well over 20 plus years as a collector myself and full time military collectibles dealer. I was very sorry to learn of his death just today as I live in North Carolina. I was tryng to get in touch with him without much luck this past week. Very sorry.

Many years ago I had the great pleasure of working with Jay. He was quite the character and a hoot to be around. I must say that it is the end of an era with him gone! I send my deepest condolences the Jay's family and friends. He certainly will be missed!

My deepest condolences to the Hellyer Family. I met Jay a few years ago when I worked at the Pennsylvania SPCA. He was witty and wise, kind and generous with a beautiful spirit. Jay will be missed.
