I first met John as a sales rep at Wyeth in the mid-1980s. I worked around him fairly closely for several years. He was a gentleman, a leader, a manager, a teacher, and a friend. He was so unassuming and was always curious and open to new information. And he was always a student of the game, as they say. While I hadn't interacted with him in years, I know he had a formative effect on me as a professional and contributed to my development very meaningfully. We have lost a great one, here. He will be missed, no doubt. I send my warmest condolences and deepest sympathies to those family and friends who are closest to him. Ron Hayen, Wyeth/Pfizer Colleague, Wayne, PA

How appropriate the backdrop here is a Phillies game! Julie, I know how much your relationship with your Dad means to you and I will forever connect you and your Dad with the stories of all the Phillies games you went to together. He'll now be watching from above but he'll ALWAYS be with you. Love to you and your whole family. xoxo
