I have a picture of the midget baseball team at Water tower. It is hanging on the living room wall. In it, Peanut has a glove that is almost as big as he, and his has just a big a smile. Seems long but to short ago.Certain my brother Chris was waiting to say "hi". Peace.

Farewell to the most wonderful coach of all time...anyone who could wrangle a bunch of young females through the divisions of play from the age of 9/10 to 18 and actually BE the boss...was a true feat! His commitment to his family, his friends, and his teams was truly top notch. Not only did we learn how to play ball and turn flawless double and triple plays (when to try and when not to), but we learned life lessons. Many on our team went on to coach, some still do, 35 years later -- how could we not! We all grew up with confidence, probably the single best gift John could have given to each of us. He, and his stories, will be missed! RIP John!
