Judy was a good friend and a powerful advocate for justice. She will be missed. Deep condolences to her family.

I met Judy while caring for her brother, she was one the most informative person on radioactivity, she told me of all her trips to Chernobyl. She even had a Geiger counter and showed me radiation coming from different appliances in her house. She was really a great, caring lady and I know she gave up a lot to pursue her passionate views about radiation. She was a great person to know and if you wanted to learn, she pull you out a chair and explain it. The neuclear community will have lost a very educated lady in this particularly male dominated field. I really liked her, she was nice to me even if I wasn't a professor.

Sad sad sad, the State College progressive community lost a true warrior. I have many fond memories of potlucks with Judy where I learned what informed resistance meant. All the best to Leon and family.
