I remember my father having me meet Louis when I came into the meat business in 1972 . He never said anything bad about the industry. The family and the industry has lost a very fine man.

I so wish I had gotten to know Lou. What a truly remarkable man. Years ago a colleague told me she had worked with Cousin Lou in his support of the Girl Scouts, and she couldn't say enough wonderful things about him. My deepest sympathies to the family.

The news from brother Gene Pompei that my cousin Louis
passed away brought much sadness to me. Louis was one of those rare special persons that God put on this earth. He will be sorely missed by his family and all those whose lives he touched.
Sincere condolences from my husband Robert and myself.

My sincere condolences to family and friends. May the God who binds up the brokenhearted and comforts all who mourn, sustain your family during this difficult time - Isaiah 61:1, 2.
