Joan was a dear and special cousin to my dad Pat LYONS and my Mom Margaretta. I remember Joan and George fondly and I'm so sorry for your loss.

Jen, Ashlee, and Reenie I'm so sorry for your loss. Your Nan was such a strong and special woman. She loved you more than anything in the world. I remember the summers in Wildwood when she and your Pop would rent a house so you would have an awesome summer. Thank goodness she did that, because if not, I never would have met you. Last summer, I had the blessing to get to visit with her when I came to see Jen. She was so beautiful and I enjoyed our little talks. They weren't very long talks but they were treasured. The way she looked at Jimmy, Prinnie, and Jaxson was priceless. The pride and joy she had for them lit up her face like a million stars. Her face glowed when she looked at the 3 of you, too! She loved you with all of her heart and soul, the same way you loved her. I know she was your rock through the tough times you faced over the years. She instilled in you her strengths and they will be with you for the rest of your lives. She was an excellent role model who taught the three of you to be such very strong and beautiful women. Her love and spirit will live within your hearts forever. Just as she was your Earth Angel, she will now be your Heavenly Angel. She will continue to watch over you from above. Her halo will glow ever so brightly as she looks down upon you with love and pride. Make sure to look for signs from heaven, because she'll definitely want you to know she is watching over you. I love you girls. May the Lord comfort you during this difficult time.

So sorry for the loss of Joan. She was a great cousin to me when I was a little girl in south Philadelphia. I haven't seen her in years but she was always special. May she Rest In Peace.
