I'm very saddened to hear of Nina's passing. She was always a bright light at our pharmacy. She was an inspiration! We will miss her.

I knew Nina many years ago when she brought her two young sons, Ronnie and Eddie to my house in Elkins Park for piano lessons. She was a most devoted mother. She adored her sons and wanted the very best for them. When my daughter Emily was born in 1966, I received a handwritten note from 5-year-old Eddie, saying, "Maybe I will marry Emily one day." I'm sure Nina had something to do with this. I'm very sorry to hear of her passing and send my warmest condolences to her family. Linda (Geenfield Davis) Baldwin.

I am very saddened to hear of Nina's passing. I was one of her voice students and on this day in 1978, I shoveled out her front steps and walk during the massive blizzard in Philadelphia. I wasn't being as grand as it sounds since it was just an excuse to say hello to Nina and see her cheerful self in the doorway! She was such an inspiration to everyone who knew her. She was one of the kindest people I knew. Anyone who was blessed enough to know her will never forget her, I'm sure. And ... talent! Talent for days, she could sing her heart out until the audience was in tears just listening to her. May she rest in peace, she earned it dearly.

Nina will always be a Woman of Valor and her memory will always be a blessing. She was an extraordinary teacher and friend who lit up every room she entered.

I shall never forget her and I'll be eternally grateful that I was able to hear stories as she told them in Eastern Europe and in the United States.

Sent with much love,
Susan
