Dad--happy fathers day--i miss you so much
January 17, 2018
Marie and family: You are all in our thoughts and prayers at this time and always. So glad we were able to stop in last September on our way back home to Three Springs from Philadelphia. We love and miss you all. I still look back on the time Brother Glenn and I road our bikes all the way from home in Feasterville to the Comely Street Market on a hot summer day, and Brother Ray gave us each a drink, a pair of gloves, and a old machete, then took us behind the store and said he needed all the weeds cut as close to the ground as possible, and stacked in one pile near the sidewalk. Well, we worked like slaves for about two hours, cutting, pulling, wacking with the machete, and stacking 'em up, until we were done. We were full on fleas, bug bites, and dirty, but the job was done. Ray got us fresh drinks and sandwiches and sat down on the ground with us, soda in hand. we all ate, then got cleaned up before we rode back home. By then, his "delivery boys" arrived, and we helped deliver orders for an hour. Brothers ALWAYS help their brothers, it's a love and help your family thing, so remember, no matter how far away, we are only a call away Marie. We love you all
