I wanted to add that Rick's "Fiji Family" (Phi Gamma Delta fraternity) from the University of Pittsburgh fondly remembers him. At one time Rick was the president of the Pi Sigma Chapter of Phi Gamma Delta at Pitt. In addition (and more importantly) Rick was "Santa Claus" at the Fiji Christmas Party one year. We all remember Rick. Unforgettable.

I am so sorry for your loss. May you place yourself in the Shepherd's care, as He offers at Psalm 23.

I was deeply saddened to learn of Rick's passing. My condolences to the Cotter family. I first met Rick in September, 1961. I have many fond memories of our time together. One of my favorites was pretending to be Santa Claus and calling his youngest brother Bryan on Christmas Eves. Rick and I got a lot of laughs on those evenings. "Cotter Here", my friend, rest in peace!
