Alice Hucks Obituary
Portsmouth - Alice Virginia Hucks 82, passed on January 20, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband Detroit Hucks. She was member of Emanuel A.M.E. Church.
She leaves to cherish her memory a sister, Elizabeth Swilley, a brother, Cornelius Elliott, Jr. (Mozella), two nephews, Alvin Swilley, III, Robert Elliott, a niece, Dr. Sylvia Swilley (Ronald Ateman), other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service Monday, January 26, 2015 12 Noon at Emanuel A.M.E Church by Rev. Granger Flythe. The burial will follow at Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake, VA. Viewing will begin Sunday, January 25, 2015 from 1 to 4:00 p.m. The family will be at 412 Roosevelt Blvd. The body will be in church at 11:00 a.m. Monday. Fisher Funeral Home, 1520 Effingham Street, Portsmouth, VA.
