Beverly Houston Obituary

Beverly Joan Houston
Virginia Beach - Beverly Joan Houston, born December 11, 1934, passed away on, February 25, 2013, after a long battle with Parkinson's disease. She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Thomas J. "Sam" Houston of NC. She also survived by her son, Mark R. Johnson and his wife, Irma of CA, her five daughters; Kathy Godwin of NC, Brenda Crisler and her husband John of CA, Paula Johnson of VA, Rebecca Lynn Arko of NC and Teresa Houston Cobb and her husband Stephen of the Eastern Shore of VA. She also leaves behind two stepdaughters, Patti Lee and Deborah Ann of NH. Her brother Marvin "Junior" Adams predeceased Beverly. Her sister, Lorna Chaney, survives her. She has been blessed with several grandchildren and great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Beverly's name to the Hampton Roads Chapter of the American Parkinson's Disease Association, 4560 Princess Anne Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23462. Arrangements by Doughty Funeral Home, Exmore.
