Frank Thorton (alias Corp. Peacock"!)" was one the last of a great Brit comedians.
He had talent.
And brought together everyone in AYBS?, and AYBS Again! He will surly be missed.
I loved every moment of AYBS.
He is "free" now.
I still watch the reuns, and have seen them numerous times.
I still split my sides!
May he rest in peace

My sincere sympathies to Mr. Thornton's family. He brought so much pleasure and enjoyment to so many with his wonderful characterizations -- especially as Capt. Peacock and Truly over the last several decades. He was one of a kind and will be greatly missed on both sides of the Atlantic.

So sad to hear of Mr. Thornton's passing, my condolences to his family and friends.

The staff of Grace Brothers have now nearly all (but one, I think) gone one. Sad for us, but something to look forward to in the hereafter.

Thornton Family, Thank you so humbly for sharing this precious man's life with us all. The world is a lesser place without his presence. We will never forget him. I pray that God will bless and comfort his loved ones and the ones who loved him. There will never be another!
