Bev, you're in my thoughts and prayers. any time I think of you & Arthur I can't help but get the biggest smile on my heart. Yes he was bigger than life, living his life his way, enjoying it all. he always had a smile and a good story for everyone - fun company and a really great shag dancer. The man had style!!
my love to you,
I was was privileged to know Arthur through my travels to SERC events and was honored to play many rounds of golf with him. I founds Arthur to be a real "hoot." I will miss him...
My love to you , Bev. I am sorry I was not there with you.
Dear Bev, Gordon and I are shocked and saddened that Arthur was gone so quickly after coming through such a long ordeal and being so close to the time to come home. He was a fun, funny, witty person and so upbeat to be around. And a great patriot too. We will miss him and we hope memories of all your many fun times together will help you in the days ahead. We ahve made the guest book permanent on line so you can access it from anywhere, and so friends can continue to add to it over the years ahead. Our love and prayers are with you.

So sorry for your loss. Growing up right across the street from the Meginleys back in the 60's...I remember he always had a great smile and joke when ever he saw us kids. What and interesting life and career too. I learned many things about his life from the obit. A great leader and Dad. My prayers and thoughts go out to the family.
Although I didn't play basketball with Arthur, he and I would talk for long periods of time over the years at various agency gatherings. We had that bond. I am thinking of you and your family during this difficult time. Your friend,

I did not know Arthur, but he was a life long friend of my brother, LP King. I am in hopes that he and LP are together again sharing memories that go back many a year. God Bless their souls.
I worked for Art at the CRHA in the early 1980's. He was a very special man and a joy to work with. He gave me my start in the Housing and Redevelopment business and for that I will be forever grateful. My deepest sympathy to all his dear friends and loving family.

Beverly and family: Beverly you may know, but Arthur and I played basketball in the old Portsmouth "Y" in 1970. I worked for the City and he at PRHA. When I last saw him, probably at our Kiwanis golf tournament, he was the same guy as in 1970...maybe a little slower. Wonderful guy, always with that special sense of humor... maybe a little wry! I liked him a lot! May God comfort you and give you peace.
