Having worked at Korvette from 1957 - 1971 I fondly remember Gene.

Dear Mrs Ferkauf, Amy and all of the family,
I send you all my deepest condolences regarding the loss of Mr Ferkauf. It was my pleasure to have known him as a young man, to be employed by him at DeFabios, and to know all of the family. Mr Ferkauf was my Father, Sam Taubman's friend, best customer and trusted advisor in all things Business and personal. I also recognize his tremendous contributions to all causes that were worthy of his interests. I know how huge this loss is to all of you but I hope that you all will be comforted by the outpouring of love and respect that all of us feel for him and for his legacy on this earth. I wish all of you a reflective and loving family Shiva experience and when it is over that all of have only the finest memories of him and his life with all of you forever.
