It was because of you Lincoln I ventured to the mountains. Your books are so inspiring. Until your next life sleep peacefully. "Climb the mountains and get their good tidings, Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you and the storms their energy, while cares will drop off like autumn leaves." Jenny in Darwin

Dear Barbara and boys
We were both very sad to hear this news. Lincoln was a very special person and friend... it is a privilege to have known him. Our thoughts and love and support are with you. Love...
A gentle giant now climbs amidst the clouds. Sincere sympathy to his family.
Sorry for you loss and the magnitude of it. I saw Lincoln speak many times and he always came across as someone who thought about other people and who had a greag purpose to fulfil in life.
From him I learnt to climb my own 'mountains' and to keep going no matter what.
So sorry to hear of Lincoln Hall's passing. Came as a shock, so soon after his miracle on the northeast ridge of Mt. Everest. "May you rest in His eternal presence".
To the family of Lincoln Hall,
You don't know me, but I want to extend to you all my deepest sympathy at the loss of your brave and incredible husband and father. As a person who has never climbed a hill much less a mountain, but who is obsessed with mountain climbing, your Lincoln was the epitome of greatness to me and I followed his story from the first I heard of his rescue on Everest. I have been crying since his passing appeared in the news. As far as I'm concerned, he was one of the greatest climbers in history and his legacy will remain forever. I am so very sorry for your terrible loss.
Dear Barbara, Dylan and Dorje, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Lincoln was an exceptional man and did so many incredible things while alive - a great inspiration to so many. I am thinking of you.
To Barbara and the boys,
Calie and I are so very sorry for your loss and as the world weeps at the tragedy of losing the person, we weep with you at the loss of the man, husband and father that he was to you. We wish you our deepest condolences and all our love and thoughts are with you at this heartbreaking time.
