I was a student of Mr Dohm at Twin Peaks Middle School in 1982. He introduced me to woodworking to which I still have an interest today. He also taught me how much I hated sanding. Many, many times over the years I have thought of him and how I do not ever remember hearing him say I was finished sanding.

Below is a breadbox (that I still own) that was made in his class.

Condolences to his family. And thank you for introducing me to a lifelong interest in making something out of wood with my own hands.

I'm sorry I missed Frank. I have included a photo. I have a lot more pics of him, Alvina, Leon and Bette too. Please contact me at greerginger@gmail.com and I will get them to you. I got them from Aunt Anna and uncle Ben's trunk in 1961.

I remember him when I was a teenaged girl attending the Poway 2nd Ward. A sweet man. My heart goes out to his family.
