While I was only fortunate to know Mr. Southard for a couple of years, I always looked forward to seeing him during his office visits. As a retired Navy man myself, it was great hearing about his experiences. He was simply a great man to be around. He is and will be missed.
My sincere condolences.
So sad to hear about Red passing. He was such a wonderful man. We delivered meals on wheels to him and he always greeted us with the biggest smile!! His conversations were great and he had a very kind soul. He cut roses from his garden to share with us! He's a person you can't forget!
He was a joy to know and will defiantly be missed.
I would like to think he is now with his beloved wife, playing dice in the shed with my Dad (Tom Andersen), and making some craft thing for my Mother (Lenette Andersen).
We will always remember him with Love.
