Rose Marie "Rosie" DiMedio of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away peacefully on Sunday, Aug. 26, 2018 at the Tidewell Hospice House of Port Charlotte.
She was born Dec. 7, 1946 in Pottsville, Pennsylvania and moved to Port Charlotte in 1991, where she opened Rosie & Company Haircare in Deep Creek. Rosie loved the Pittsburgh Steelers, gardening, orchids and especially golf. She will be sorely missed.
Rosie is survived by her son, Joseph A Hodges, Sr.; daughter-in-law, Deborah E Hodges both of Port Charlotte, Florida; step-daughter, Sandy Perti of Upper Chichester, Pennsylvania; three grandsons, Michael Hodges, Joseph Hodges Jr. and Anthony Hodges all of Port Charlotte; granddaughter, Paige Perti of Upper Chishester, Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, S. William Ellis.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Port Charlotte Hospice House, 1158 Veronica Street, Port Charlotte, FL 33952

So thankful I was able to spend time with Rosie and Bill. She was always so special to me and I always enjoyed our talks. What a wonderful sister...you will be missed.

My hairdresser for many years. I will miss her so even though she was a Pittsburgh fan. My heart goes out to her family to lose both parents So close to each other hardly seems fair
