Walter E. Krumnow
GLENDALE, AZ: Walter E. Krumnow, 90, of Glendale, AZ and formerly of Oak Harbor, died Wednesday, October 10, 2012.
He was born October 3, 1922 in the Oak Harbor area to the late Albert and Bertha (Butzin) Krumnow. On February 14, 1950 he married the former Irene Lemke who preceded him in death September 26, 2004. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a life-long farmer in the Gibsonburg Area.
Survivors include his children, Larry (Jane) Krumnow of Oak Harbor and Cheryl (Terry) Cooning of Glendale, AZ; two grandchildren; nieces; and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Elmer, Ervin, Gustav, Emery, and Julius Krumnow.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at Limestone Cemetery, Limestone, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions are made to a charity of the donor's choice. Crosser Funeral Home, Oak Harbor, is handling arrangements.
