Jim was a wonderful friend. I have a very special book in part of my mind of the memories we made together selling Garst Seed; the meetings; the meals; the store. I stopped daily for a banana and Jim said every day I opened it from the wrong end. Jim and Naomi welcomed my family to Wisconsin. They were the heart and soul of the earth good people.
Sorry for your loss, he was such a nice man, I have fond memories of them as a kid. Thoughts and prayers are with you.

Jim & Naomi were such wonderful icons in Hortonville. They both were such hard-working folks and built such a legacy. They will never be forgotten. I remember them from going to their store and also great times at the Horton Inn and Wally's shaking dice. They are now together in heaven!

Your dad was a huge influence in my life growing up. I would see him often at Blackies Cafe. I would stop and talk with him when I would walk past your store on my way home, I will never forget him, his smile or how how that man worked.
