Hello Betty. I was checking the obits for another friend and saw Carl's name. Such a shock for you and your family. Carl was such a neat guy to work with; conscientious and thoughtful. :)

You and your family have our deepest sympathy. Carl was a wonderful man, husband, father and I'm sure grandfather. We were truly blessed to have known him and will miss him. You and your family will be in our thoughts and prayers. We treasure our memories from Brekke Lake.

May God surround you with His love and comfort. Carl was truly one of the "nice" people of this world and I know you will miss him terribly. Betty - my heart goes out to you and your family. Especially your kids and grandkids on missing their wonderful father/grandfather. I did not know Carl personally, but for the short time I worked with you at Thrivent (AAL), I could see you had such an amazing family. When I saw this in the paper - I wanted to send you my heartfeldt sympathy. That strong family you and Carl created together will be the thing that will see you through.
