We met at the airport in 69. Asked if I wanted to go for a ride. He didn't say we would be doing loops. Loved it. What a guy!
Pam and Nan--My deepest sympathy! Your dad and mom were such a big part of our lives, from Two Rivers to Edgewood Avenue and beyond. Grace Bauknecht Davis
Condolences to all of the De Roche family. I worked with Mr De Roche for years. In fact I grew up during my teen years on Edgewood Avenue near the De Roches.
Ed always greeted me with a warm smile. He had a kind and caring heart. I loved his stories he told and I always was amazed at his remarkable abilities as an aging individual. He always told me stories of his golf adventures and if I saw him on Friday he would tell me that he swam twice that week at the YMCA. He had 40+ years on me but you wouldn't know it from his energy level
.
Time spent with Ed will always be remembered with a smile - peace be with you all - Ed was a great man !

Pam and Nanette,
I'm sorry to hear about your dad. I knew he was pretty remarkable because of the daughters he raised. You are in my prayers.
Love,
Natalie
