Harry Roller Obituary
Harry N. Roller, 94, of Lynn Haven, passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2014. He came from a family of nine children and was the sole survivor of the Roller clan. He joined the United States Army in 1940. He commissioned and married Muriel Peck in 1943. He served during World War II, Korea and Vietnam, retiring in 1969 as a Colonel. He loved life and enjoyed eating at Golden Corral and PoFolks.
He is survived by wife of 71 years, Muriel Roller; daughter, Nancy Wall; son, Richard Roller; four grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 11 at the Hatcher Cemetery in Freeport, Fla.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Sheriff's Youth Ranch, P.O. Box 2000, Boys Ranch, FL 32064 in memory of Harry Roller.

Can not believe it has been eleven years.
There are days where something funny comes up and my immediate thought is, 'Grandpa will like this!'
Then correcting myself to 'would have'.

My son and i rode our bikes by the grave yard today. We had no idea who Col Harry Roller was so that is why I'm here. We wanted to see his picture. He sounds like a great person. Thank You for your service. Loved the flag flying at the Grave as well.

I was so saddened to read this obituary. Col. and Mrs. Roller were one of my family's best friends for decades. They were in the Army together and would often come for visits to my house on Danny Drive, El Paso, Texas. They would place the Airstream in the driveway and visit for several days. My Mom was so fond of him and Peck. He even kept in touch with me after my Mom passed. He was one fun MAN. Always full of fun and laughter. Sent me the funniest jokes. and will
