Mr/Professor Sager was one in a million, a favorite teacher of many including me at AHS, and I was fortunate enough to have him in the education department at Lawrence University as well.....but it is the high school classes I remember him best. A wonderful man!
Blessings to you all, Pat Joyce Laybourn

How can I remember a teacher I had 54 years ago? Because Mr. Sager was that remarkable. My all time favorite. Sincere condolences to his family.

Mr.Sager was on of my favorite high school teachers and I was lucky to be a Senior in his last years of teaching at West (1960). I'll never forget walking into class, seeing Mr.Sager sitting on his desk, Indian style!

As a student of Ken Sager, at AHS in 1958, I have many wonderful memories of this important man in my life. I had the good fortune of giving a series of lectures for his Lawrence University class in the late 1960's. Several years ago I made a visit, with my friend, Anne Ahrens, to see Ken at his beautiful home on the Fox River. He will be in my thoughts and my heart for the rest of my life.

Kris and Ann,
I'm so sorry to hear of your father's passing and learn of your loss. I will always remember the wonderful variety of choral music which you father conducted every Sunday morning while I was growing up at St. Paul's in Neenah. That experience really impacted my life and career, and I will always be grateful. With sympathy,

That obit was quite thorough but did not
include the part about he and Dody spending many Sunday afternoons in the
Belling car singing every song we knew
in 4 part harmony while my dad drove us
around the countryside. Carol (Belling) Langdok.

As one who covered several school boards over the years as a reporter, Ken was among THE most enlightened of all, PLUS he was incredibly gracious, humble and a pure joy to talk too anytime this person has a question about education in general. It was a honor to watch him as he always put students and staff first in the name of improving our schools and the people who attended them. Wonderful man, who leaves a wonderful legacy.

My condolences to your family.

He was my favorite teacher at AHS. I always enjoyed his class and went on to study Psychology in College.
