"Uncle" Art was not really my uncle, but our families spent so much time together that he always felt like a real uncle to me! I loved his sense of humor, and when he and my dad got together, you never knew just what might happen! Through everything, though, the fun, the laughter, the weddings, the funerals, the sicknesses, the struggles, he kept his faith! He was a good and faithful servant! He was also our plumber, and to this day, the faucets in my kitchen are reversed because he and my dad thought it would be fun if the letters on the faucet knobs spelled C H for

Art was a wonderful neighbor for many years. He would come anytime day or night if we needed his help. He was an honest and kind man. It was a privilege to have known him and his wife. RIP Art.
