I've known Bill Bachmann for a little over 20 years. My dad first met him while working at Bethany Village in PA where Bill's Aunt lived at the time. He was giving a demo of his images and talks about his travels. My dad approached him and found out that Bill also went to School at Rochester Institute of Technology. I had just graduated from there in Photography in 1995 in the same program Bill went through.

At my father's urging, I met Bill and we hit it off. He invited me to visit his studio in Lake Mary and show me how he did what he does. Ooh man, it was a treat to visit and see that. He was very accommodating with me during that visit.

We kept in touch over the years and he visited my parents and I and when I moved to Florida, we visited him occasionally. Most recently I had the pleasure of attending Bill's Stock photography workshop over a whole weekend weekend in 2015 and had a blast and learned a lot from him. What he taught me that weekend has carried through in my own photography business. I can never thank him enough for that. He was truly a gem in his willingness to share what he learned.

I think of you often Bill Bachmann and your influence in my life. Keep flying my friend. I hope Heaven has plenty of places for you to Travel and explore. RIP

I'd known Bill since the 80's, worked with him on several projects for various clients, and played basketball with him (and Drew) on many occasions . . . his talent, spirit and energy were as big as he was, and he was happy to share all of them . . . listening to tales of his travels, and viewing the fruits of his labors was always a treat!

BILL WAS BIGGER THAN LIFE.HE LIVED LIFE TO THE FULLEST AND BECAME ONE OF THE VERY BEST IN HIS CHOSEN PROFESSION. HE PHOTOGRAPHED IN MORE THAN 200 COUNTRIES AND VISITED ALL OF THE CONTINENTS IN THIS WORLD. HE WAS AN INCREDIBLE MOTIVATOR OF PEOPLE AND TAUGHT US ALL TO LIVE LIFE TO THE FULLEST, TO LOVE THOSE THAT MEAN SO MUCH TO US AND TO CARE ABOUT YOUR FELLOW HUMAN BEING. THOSE OF US THAT WERE FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO CROSS HIS PATH IN LIFE WERE INDEED BLESSED BY HIS VERY PRESENCE AND HIS VERY WORDS ON HOW TO LIVE LIFE- "CARE DEEPLY-THINK KINDLY-ACT GENTLY-PRAY DAILY-AND BE AT PEACE WITH THE EARTH."MAY YOU FOREVER REST IN PEACE BILL AND MAY YOUR STAR SHINE BRIGHTLY IN THE CANOPY OF HEAVEN.
