Your life will be secured again because Jesus is our hope. Jesus will say to David. " I say to you, get up and pick up your stretcher, and go to your home." Jesus forgives our sins and our physical health because he has the power to cure us. He will come back soon to accomplished his promises.

To the Rosenthal family, I never had the pleasure of meeting David and Cecil, but I am heartbroken by their tragic loss. I have both a brother and a teenage son who have Fragile X Syndrome, so much of what I've read about your boys feels very familiar to me. They sound like amazing people who were living happily and fully a part of their community and their congregation. That is something I hope to achieve for my brother and my son. It deeply saddens me that I couldn't have known them without this horrific loss. Praying for peace for your family.

What beautiful comments about these two men. My deepest condolences to you all. May you too find comfort in the words shared with us in Isaiah 63:9 where we are told God feels our distresses as well. Soon tragedies like these will no longer happen. That time is very near. How blessed you all have been to have the beautiful memories you share.

I was very saddened to hear of the tragic and sudden death of your dearly beloved David as well as Cecil. I have heard nothing but good things about these two precious lives that were taken from you so tragically. I cannot imagine what your family is going through at this time. But I hope and pray that you'll find comfort from our loving God of Tender Mercies, who knows how to comfort all during very difficult and trying times as this. How we look forward to the day when all wickedness, sorrow, pain as well as death will be gone forever. In the meantime, may the loving support of family and friends sustain you in the days ahead.

The tragic loss of David is a great sadness. I hope you will find comfort in the words of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob who promises that soon when God's Kingdom comes the whole earth will rest, free of disturbance. At that time the only cries will be cries of joy. (Isaiah 14:7) Please accept my sincere condolences.

To: Michelle and the Rosenthal family.

Heavenly Father we know and believe that our times are in Your hands, but Lord its so often such a shock to us when a dear loved one meets with a sudden or unexpected death through this unforeseen tragedy, which takes the life of someone they loved long before it would be expected.

Lord, we bring before You today those who are having to go through such a tragic loss and pray that You would be very close to each one that is in mourning today over such a loss and are perhaps confused or even angry that such a devastating occurrence has overtaken them without any apparent warning.

You are the God of all comfort Who comforts us in time of need and we pray that for those that are facing such a difficult trial today. Uphold them we pray, and ask that You draw very close to them raise up we pray, the right people to minister to them and to be a genuine comfort and support at this time of tragedy and grief.

Lord, we dont understand why our loved ones should suddenly be removed from us through a sudden, unexpected death but Lord we trust You to soothe away the hurt in time for shall not the God of all the earth do right. In Jesus name, we pray,

I work at Goodwill and looked forward everyday to seeing David stop by my cubicle and chat with me briefly. He'd always, with a big smile, ask how I was, see what I was up to over the weekend, ask about my family or just joke around with me. Dave was such a friendly chatty guy, and always brightened my mornings. Those daily interactios with him will be beyond missed. My heart goes out to all of his family and friends at this tragic time mourning such a huge loss.

Joy and Eli,

Our deepest sympathies to all of you at this most difficult time. I wanted to share an excerpt from a Facebook post our son, Jacob, wrote this morning.

To David and Cecil, I never knew you. But I feel as if I had just lost a piece of me that I never think I can get back. That I never got to meet such a special part of my family, but your deaths will not be in vain. To quote Ralph Waldo Emerson, " The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well."

Dearest Diane & All your Family,

I am at a loss to express the depths of my sorrow for the terrible, senseless losses of your brothers David & Cecil. On Sunday my congregation raised up all of our Jewish Brothers & Sisters, especially Tree of Life, its Congregants lost to terror, as well as their families. We will continue to pray for peace, and for the safety of our Jewish Brethren.

May God surround you all with His comfort.

With All my Love,
Lisa
