Danny,
I am writing to express my condolences for the passing of your father. I would like to share with you and your family that I have always regarded your father as the best man I have ever known. I have the highest respect and regard for him. He was very insrumental in helping guide me through the Middle school with all the things taking place there. He was always fair, but firm in what he expected from someone. I have only the fondest memories of him when I think back to those days. Playing softball with faculty against the students and he never needed a baseball glove because his hands were so large he could catch anything.
Again, Please except the condolences from all my family to you and all your brothers from the Howats.
God bless you all,
Jay Howat

Mr. Mancosh made this poor North Side kid feel welcome in a foreign land [Fox Chapel]. I will always be grateful to he and his family for living the Gospel and how it impacted me. You are all in my prayers.

Doug,

I am so very sorry to hear of the loss of your father. Although I did not know him personally, reading all of the wonderful things others that knew him wrote, I believe he would have been someone that anyone would have bee privileged to know. It also gives insight to the man you became and your own accomplishments. There would be no doubt in my mind that when he crossed the finish line he heard the words "Well Done!". May God Bless You & Yours At This Time

Dear Doug, Don, Dave, Dan and your Families,

Please accept my heartfelt sympathy at your father's passing. He was a great educator and a wonderful human being!

Mr.. Mancosh not only influenced me, but countless others as we paved our way through middle school. He adjusted our gyros and helped to point the compass.

He was always most supportive and encouraging to me, but taught us all how to be respectful and understanding.

While I envy you for having had him in your life so long, (as I lost my dad 29 years ago,) I know you will appreciate the wonderful life he lived and that legacy that is now yours to share.

My thoughts and prayers are with you as you grieve and celebrate a life well lived.

With deep condolences,
