Pastor Ernie blessed our lives through his witness and humor. He was beloved by so many people and we are better people for knowing him and will miss him, until we meet again.

Pastor Ernie was a one of a kind person, friend, and a very special minister. He often had a song to sing during his sermons as he did for my wife Darlene and I during our wedding ceremony in October 2017. His songs always had a fitting message. He was loved by all who knew him and will be missed.

My life was richer for knowing Pr. Waxbom. He faithfully served Hebron Lutheran Church in Leechburg as our Sunday supply pastor for well over a year. The congregation loved him and looked forward to his lessons and messages. I personally had a rough year in 2017 with an emergency surgery and long recovery. Ernie came to visit me in the hospital and called my mother weekly to check on my progress so he could report to the congregation each Sunday. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered. My deepest condolences to his family.
