I brought Holy Communion to George for several years until I moved to another parish. He was a gentleman who loved life and his family. Even when he moved to his apartment he enjoyed life and looked for opportunities to enjoy life. I marveled at his country songs he worked on and his research into the Bible with others over the internet. I pray that he is joyful beyond our understanding at having reached his final reward. I pray that the family is being comforted by our Lord Jesus Christ for their loss.

Although my family and I didn't know George all that well, we knew at first meeting that he was kind, quite the gentleman, and very well rounded. May God bless and keep him.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. George was always such a kind warm person to me and my family. He and my father had a long and special bond, and George was incredibly kind to make the long hard trips to see my father in the months before he died, then again to come and speak at his funeral this past May. I wish I could make it to the services to honor him, but unfortunately cannot. Please accept my deep condolences for a special man who will be missed
