My deepest sympathy to the Trifanoff family on the loss of George. The Trifanoff family and my family were neighbors in Rankin in the 1950's and early 1960's. I remember George well and his brother Milan even though I was just a teenager at the time. I always thought George was so handsome with his dark curly hair and movie star looks. We eventually moved to Swissvale and lost touch with our Rankin neighbors but I have fond memories of living in Rankin and the close community that we had. Again, my sympathy goes out to all of George's family.

Hope I can get there. Snow chases me away. George was a wonderful man and he will be missed. Always had a smile and brightened the room. My sympathy to you and your family.

Always enjoyed my talks with George when he worked the bar at the Elks.. We would talk in Slovak and it brought many fond memories of my upbringing in a Slovak family who also worked in the Homestead Steel Mills. He also had a great sense of humor.
My condolences to the Trifanoff family.
