Heartfelt sympathy for the loss of Audrey Brooks! I had the distinguished honor of teaching with her when she was a 4th grade teacher at SUNNYSIDE. We shared laughter & battled through curriculum challenges of educating the students. Fond memories of such an outstanding, classy lady!! God bless & peace be with you.

Bernard and Eric,
I am sorry for your loss. I will miss Audrey's smiling face and her laughter.
Miss Audrey Our lives have changed now that you're gone. You are loved and truly missed by me and your grandchildren Chelsea and Joshua. May you rest in peace. Loving you always Michelle.
I will never forget the times that Sue (My Girl) as I called her and she called me Sandy which I didn't like, (for fun) shared together. We often spent times in her classroom when students weren't there, singing and praying. We called ourselves Diana Ross and the Supremes. Guess who was Diana Ross? We would change words to songs. For example, a Temptations Song "I guess you say what can make me feel this way My God, My God, My God taking about My God, My God. We always took time to pray for the teachers, staff and parents of Sunnyside School. What I loved the most about Sue is that she had a heart and a concern for her family, students getting a good education, parents and staff at her school, and above all her love for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. May God bless and keep you family and friends at this time. Know that she is at peace with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
My dearest friend,
I will always remember you, smile when I think of you, and keep you warmly in my heart. My family and I send our deepest sympathies to Eric and his family.
So sorry to hear of the passing of Sue (as we called her growing up). She was my neighbor as children, living on Mitchell Avenue. Always such a sweet person. My deepest sympathy to the family.
Mrs. Brooks was my 5th grade teacher and she's one of the teachers who I felt took the time to know me personally. I'm thankful for the memories, for the messages, and for the lessons that I got from her. My condolences to her family.
U will always be remembered as one of the best teachers i have ever had.
My deepest sympathies to hear of your sad loss. I taught with Ms. Brooks at Sunnyside for a few years and her smile and laughter were both very contagious. She will be missed by all. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
Mrs. Brooks touched my life in so many ways. She always made me think outside the box and dreamed to become what ever I wanted to be. Thanks to her I have become a successful women, mother and wife. I will be ever thankful to her .
