Our deepest sympathy to you and your family. Keeping you all in our thoughts.
I was so sorry to hear of the loss of your loved one. I'm sending you a hug from afar.
George, so sorry to learn of the passing of your father. The title insurance business has afforded me many opportunities and one that will always be remembered is the relationship that I had with your dad. I know that it was difficult for you towards the end, but take comfort in knowing that he is now in a better place.
Lenny, Susan, Chris, George, Tommy, Nancy, Mary Alice and Tricia and extended families: Your Chicago/LA cousins (Jeff,Jack,Judy and Jim)and our families just wanted to offer our condolences to all of you on the loss of your father. We have many wonderful memories of Christmases and other family events held at your grand home. I will never forget the adults talking in the parlor while us 21 cousins hung out together. Your father's sense of humor, his gentle nature and love of family stands foremost. I will never forget his laughter and warmth. Though we moved away and our lives became busy we have always cherished those times spent with your loving parents. Uncle George is now with the love of his life for eternity. All our love to you all!
Chris and Family, I am so sorry to learn of your dad's passing. I have many fond memories of your parents but one especially comes to mind, of you and I skipping down the Afton steps to go buy some chocolate "turtles" at the shopping center for your Dad. Then we'd run back up those steps laughing & giggling all the way!
My deepest sympathy to you and the family...
Our sincere condolences to Georgie & the entire Boehm family. What a treasure trove of memories your dad has left us all with! One can't help but smile just at the mere thought of him. He was one of the most genuine, pleasant, and amusing people we have had the pleasure of encountering in our lifetime. We were so lucky to have known him. Although we have missed his physical presence on our street for some time now, fond memories of him have always lingered and will continue to live on. We take comfort in knowing that he joins your mom in an even finer place than the one they inhabited here on earth. We can see Alice now, arching an eyebrow and whispering out of the side of her mouth, "oh geez, here he comes!". Indeed, Lord, look out, 'cause here comes George Boehm! God bless you all and cherish all the wonderful memories he has given you.
Sharon and My condolences to both of you and the Boehm family. From our conversations your dad sounds like a great guy. With yours and my Dad in heaven we have a good team watching over us! Bless, Tim and Sharon Bingler
Truly sorry about your your Dads passing ... loved his personality and talking with him...please give your family my condolence.
Oh, I remember George Boehm so very well--he was part of my childhood. Playing in the summertime with Sue, at 5 o'clock we'd hear a long, high whistle from the front porch on Afton and all the Boehms would come racing home to dinner--before George had to whistle again. He was smart, funny, provocative, happy and so kind. My older brother Jim learned a lot about working from George and really looked up to him. My mother and other ladies in the neighborhood loved to carpool with George into Pittsburgh in the morning. Lots of laughs along the way on their way to work. I have not seen Mr. Boehm in many years, but he and Alice and all of those amazingly wonderful neighbors have stayed with me all through my life. There's a tear in my eye but a smile on my face, just thinking how lucky I am to have known them. My love to all the entire Boehm family.
Very sorry to hear about the loss of your father. You are in our prayers!
To all the Boehms , please accept my condolences and at the same time celebrate the life of George aka "Ski King " Boehm one of the funniest , kindest and most genuine people this world will ever know. Time for a reunion now that George, Alice, Bud,Fran,Chuck and Stella are having one so should we....XOXOX
Chris - I am so very sorry to hear of your dad's passing. I will always remember him fondly, as he gave me my first job after graduating from Canevin High School.
Along with his wife, Mr. Boehm was a beautiful person who lit up the room with his fun and hospitality. Who could forget the times with George? The good Lord will certainly welcome him with a nice highball and thank him for the good work he did here on earth.
