GREENFILED LOST ONE OF ITS' FAVORITE SONS. INDEED JAKO WAS ADMIRED BY ALL. HE HAD A REAL LOVE OF LIFE THAT AFFECTED EVERYONE AROUND HIM. A FINE, WARM, HONEST HUMAN BEING. YOU CAN USUALLY TELL WHAT KIND OF PERSON YOU ARE BY THE CHILDREN YOU RAISE AND I HAD THE PRIVILEDGE OF COACHING EDDIE AND JIMMIE WHEN I LIVED IN GREENFIELD.
THEY WERE GREAT KIDS TO COACH. OUR DEEPEST SYMPATHY TO YOU, CORKY AND YOUR FAMILY . THINK OF ALL THE GOOD TIMES AND THE FUN YOU HAD AND JAKE WILL HELP YOU WITH THE FUTURE. JAKE LOVED TO WIN AND WAS A REAL COMPETITOR AND NOW HE'S ON THE TEAM THAT NEVER LOSES AND I AM SURE HE'S TELLING GOD HOW TO PLAY THAT PAR 4! LOVE TO ALL AND A SPECIAL HELLO TO EDDIE AND JIMMIE

Gunner (Happy belated # 60), Eddie, Jane, and entire Carr family, Your father was, quite simply, a hell of a good and kind person. Growing up in Greenfield, I can always cherish the conversations I had with your dad either coming home from practice from the Morningside Bulldogs, at Magee Field, or at the Win-Green. He was gentleman. My only regret is that I never had the pleasure of playing a round of golf with him. May he rest in peace.
My condolences to the Carr family. Jako always made me smile. I have memories from my high school days when he'd tease me for falling asleep watching late night NBA games with Tommy and Johnny Ward. Then years later I would see him in the doctor's office when I took my parents and he would tell me I had to take up golf and give me pointers for overcoming any shortcomings I used for excuses not to play. My parents Walt and Dot (Hunt) Joyce and uncle Bud and aunt Jayne always loved him. God bless Mr Carr and all of you.
To The Carr Families: Jakeo was agreat guy and a better human being. His visits to Yesterday's and little battles with Jack the Rat over hand position and putting styles are legendary. There are hundreds of Greenfield guys that would never have learned golf without Jakeo. He will be missed, truly a Greenfield legend.
God Bless Jake! Always enjoyed his company and the golf tips. Good man!

To Jimmy, Eddie, and the Carr Family,
Your dad was one of the finest men I have known. He was always very caring. He gave me my first golf lesson when I was eleven, helped me when I worked with him for a short time at the MC and gave me some of the hardest unintentional fouls when we played basketball at Schenley High School. Sorry we can't be with you at this time but will see you in a couple of weeks. Jako and your families will remain in our prayers. You have our deepest sympathy.

Tears streamed down my face when I saw you that way.
I love you grandpa, I will love you everyday.
As my tears raced down my face;
I knew you'd soon be in a happier place.
My love will follow you wherever you go.
Oh how I loved you so.
Although I feel sorrow and hate.
You can't fight fate.
I want you to know;
I will never let you go.
I know you loved me too.
My heart will always be with you.
