Sorry for your families loss from me and mom!Sending Prayer's your way!!
Sad doesn't begin to describe how I feel about my best friend at the county passing away on Wednesday. I think I know how his family feels with the loss. Ike and I ate lunch together every other payday Friday for at least 12 years. We also did woodwork together in his basement workshop. He was my co-pilot when we drove to the many classes for our CPE certification.
I'm really going to miss him, he was a great friend and co-worker. Our office will never be the same, some people you just can't replace.
So sorry for your loss. You all are in my prayers.
So sad to hear of Ike's passing; he was such a sweet soul, As a former OPA worker I admired his sense of humor and his strong work ethic he will truly be missed
I was saddened to hear that "Ike" passed away. I had the pleasure of working with him at the assessment office. My prayers are with his family.
Our office will not be the same. It just hit me like a ton of bricks, that Ike will not be here anymore. I am so saddened. Ike was special and unique and always willing to help out his fellow workers. Sorry to see him go. God be with his family
When I worked with Ike at the County I loved stopping at his desk to talk. His work was always professional and our conversations always pleasant. We talked of family grandchildren and sometimes work. At one time Mike Vestal worked next to him. They had an empty box of Mike and Ike on top of the space separating them. Ike's smile lit up the office a truly great guy.
Goodbye Ike, I had all the memories of your handcrafts that you, made for me, the jokes and laughter!, I am going to miss you. You're a good friend. I will never forget you. God Bless your family. May you rest in peace.

Dear Ike, All of us at OPA will miss your Wisdom, Ingenuity, and Humor. You were always the first one to volunteer and the last one to complain. You could never be replaced. Hope you finally get your Harley up there. Save us a parking space.
I will truly miss Ike. Work will just never be the same without him. He was truly a great friend, do anything for you including giving the shirt off of his back for you, and a very proud dad and grandpa. He talked about his family all the time.
