Dear Pricilla and family, I am so sorry to learn of your loss. Joe and I worked very closely together for about two years when he was the CFO of Bank of New England and I was heading the advisory team at Goldman Sachs who were helping Joe and the bank. Sadly, I lost track of Joe in the intervening years as I moved to another industry specialization, and Joe moved to Pennsylvania. What is truly sad for me is that I put on my "things to do" list this year to reconnect with Joe, which is how I came across his obituary. Again, it was a pleasure to work with such a professional and I am sorry you have lost him so soon.

Hearing of Joe's untimely passing has brought back many cherished memories of when we were much younger. Cruising in cars, hanging out at Eat n Parks just like “American Graffiti”, the Shadyside bars, early marriage, starting families, many parties, different careers, occasionally meeting for dinner, and now just remembering---. Priscilla and Family, I just learned of Joe's passing and want to express our sadness at your loss. Our time together at EQK was so very special and he will be missed by all that knew Joe. We are sorry we will not be able to attend the services, having just learned of your tragedy. Please know you are in our prayers. Dick & Thea.
My sister and brother and I all grew up with Joe. We lived in Mt. Washington only 1 street apart. We had matching dogs, Toy Manchesters and some of our dog's pups were by Joe's little boy. I remember him as a gentle spirit. He had a humorous side that he kept for special occasions.
We lost track many years ago, but I knew of his life in banking when he tried to save the bank where I worked. I know he must have had a beautiful life because he was deserving of just that. I hope you are able to keep his memory in your hearts and smile when you remember. He would like that.
