Dear Cliff and Lisa, Keith and I wish to extend our sympathies to you and the girls. If there is anything we can do please let us know.
What a guy! His warmth and affection were so endearing. He could do so much with just a little grin.
We will always remember him with love.
Our deepest condolences to the Caplan family. We were all truly fortunate know Red, he was a great man.
Dear Cliff,
I'm really sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. I remember his cheeriness, his smile, and his helpful spirit.
Dear Lorraine, Cliff, and all the grandchildren and great grandchildren,
I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Red. He was a wonderful man--always friendly and helpful and so kind to Ruby. He had a good, long life and I hope that provides comfort to you now with your loss.
I am sorry I cannot be with you today. I had to leave yesterday to teach in Prague. I am thinking of you all.
I'm sorry for the lost of your love one. In times like these many are looking for comfort. Just so you know you can always find comfort in the Bible.
Cliff, I'm so saddened to hear about your dad. I ran into both your parents several years ago in the Coffee Tree, and they were just as sweet as always. I lost my dad a few years back, and know the pain of loss. You and Lisa and Lorraine are in my thoughts. I miss seeing you!
Cliff, I remember our breakfasts at Isley's. He was a terrific guy, solid all the way down. Really sorry for your loss.
Uncle Red was such a great man. I loved going to Uncle Red and Aunt Ruby's pizza parties! Their house was filled with love, knowledge, pictures, and many fun things to play with (piano, typewriter, and the trombone kazoo were some of my favorites!) I will miss hearing his funny jokes and puns! I feel very blessed to have memories that will last forever.
Lorraine and Cliff,
The girls and I are so sorry to hear of your loss. We have many fond memories of both of your parents. Your father will be greatly missed by so many people. Our prayers are with all of you! Linda, Resi & Jeni

My heartfelt condolonces to Cliff and all the family. I have many enjoyable memories of Red when he would come to Allied or I would see him at the Inspectors' Meetings. I can think of no more kind and warm-hearted person than Red, and I will treasure my memories of him.
My dad worked with Red when I was a little girl and I have very fond memories of both Red and Ruby. My sister and I loved going to their house and searching through their "treasures" and feeding the fish in the pond. And of course you could never get away without hearing a few silly jokes. I was very sorry to hear of Red's passing. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. Your dad will really be missed.
Cliff - your dad was quite memorable. A lot like my mother, actually. Both quite entertaining. Sorry for your loss, as they say...
Cliff,
Thinking of you and your family at this time. I send my deepest sympathy.
Red made each day here at Life Pgh a little brighter with his wry smile and quick wit. He will be missed by everyone.
We will miss Red and his sense of humor and kindness - Carl, Maria and Tony Spadaro
My deepest condolences to the Caplan family. Cliff, you may remember me. I and my partner Curt Robbins lived in the second floor apartment at 3223 Kennett Square throughout the 1980's. Your mother and dad were the best of landlords. Your dad always had a joke and a smile, and of course that wild red hair. I have very fond memories and hope that all the joy that your parents spread throughout the world will help you through this difficult time.
