Although I had attended Bible Study with Sunny in the past, I just now read of her passing. My heart and prayers go out to her family, whom she spoke of with such love and pride.
I'm so sorry to hear this sad news. A friend that had invited me to one of Sunny's fund raisers just told me today. I'm in my own battle with this horrible disease and I remember how positive and strong Sunny was when I met her. God bless her family.
I am currently reasding Sunny's book she is truly a INSPIRATION!!!!!:) Get the book I cannot put it down...
Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.
I will miss her though I never met her.She touched my life forever through her blog.We even e-mailed a couple of times. My husband passed away in January after a 5 year fight with carcinoid cancer. He used to ask me "how is Sunny doing"? It gave him hope that she had lived so long with this terrible disease. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. You are an inspiration to all..............
She was an inspiration to alot of people. I myself have Stage IV Carcinoid cancer and reading her blogs and seeing how she chose to fight her disease gave me hope and helped me cope better with my own diagnosis. My condolences to her husband, her boys and all of her family. She helped more people than she even knew. Gods peace be with her family.
I can't stop thinking about Sunny and what an inspiration she was. I followed her blog and was always so amazed by her positivity throughout her fight with cancer. As sad as I am that she has passed, I am so happy that she has finally received her reward and she is without pain. God Bless Sunny and my prayers are with her husband, her boys, and her family.

I would first like to say how sorry I am for your loss, and that I am praying for Mark and the kids. I also want to say how inspired and encouraged I am from Sunny's blogs. I too am a Carcinoid patient (3 years), and was not handling it to well this last year, but after reading what Sunny has wrote, I am inspired to change the way I view my life with this cancer. I want to give God the Glory, be a more positive, and encouraging example for those around me, and to those I have opportunity to reach. Thank you Sunny, you have changed my life for the better, for ever.
Beautiful service and a true inspiration to hear Austen, Logan, and Nolan speak with such poise and peace of mind in a time of great loss. Our prayers are with you and your wonderful family. May your days be filled with "Sunny" reminders of strength, courage, and unrelenting resilience in the face of adversity. God bless.

To the Carney & Jennings Family, I am deeply sorry for your loss of Sunny. When Sunny was just a toddler her brother Joe was talking about her and said "She is MY Sunshine". A few years later her sister Sheila said something real similiar because she loved Sunny so much. The pride Joe & Sheila had in her was very obvious. I can only imagine how much prouder the entire family is of her after the inspiring and courageous life Sunny lived. I know her passing is a huge void for you all, especially for Mark & her boys. May God's newest Angel keep watch over and comfort all of you. You are all in my prayers.
Our Sympathy and prayers are for Mark and the boys. Sunny fought a long and painful fight . Take comfort knowing that she now sleeps in the palm of Our Lords Hands. God Bless all of you.

I began to read Sunny's blog after my daughter' s death from cancer. She wrapped me in her faith and gave me such comfort even though I did not know her. I'm sure you will never know how many lives she touched. Mark, I want you to know how your words of faith are also an inspiration. May God bless and comfort you in the months to come.
Surely, no words can fill the void that the absence of Sunny has left. The footprints she left behind, though, will serve as eternal reminders of her caring and loving spirit.
'Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest.' Matthew 11:28

Major Prayers to the Carney Family. Sunny was just AMAZING!!
With the deepest sympathy, we lost one of the most amazing people who I likely will ever have the chance to know. From the days she was hanging out wiht my sister when I was a young boy, to when she helped me get my first professional job when she was a recruiter, to when I caught the garter at her wedding to Mark, I was fortunate to have the priviledge and honor to have had Sunny touch my life. I often told Sunny that my succes was due to the path she helped set for me but she was always quick to say that it wasn't her and I did did it because God always had a plan for all of us. I am so grateful that my wife Kara got to know her as well and saw the wonderful person that I have known all my life. I'll always know that there is another angel looking over us and that with each sunrise and sunset she is smiling at us reminding us that "it never rains on Sunshine" as Mark once told me.
Although I only new Sunny through the her friends here at The Ridge I was deeply saddened by her passing. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

She loved without end everyone she met. Everyone who knew her, or even met her just once, is a better person because of it. She surely made her footprints in the cement. They will never be washed away.
