I just learned tonight of Tammy's passing. She had only been a GPLC volunteer for a short time but she made a positive impact on the life of her student. Her student told me this sad news. My sympathy and prayers for her family. Tammy lit a candle which lightened many.
Our sympathies on the passing of a former co-worker (Stouffer's Restaurant - Oakland and U.S.P.S.) and landlady. I can picture her in the great beyond listening to jazz music and being at peace. Mary Ann, Jim and John Kearns.
I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved sister, daughter and friend. I've never met Tammy, only heard of her by reading her sister Leona's blog and yet by reading each week you grow attached to the characters and share the ups and downs of life with them. I am so sorry that Tammy passed on so young and know that she leaves behind a sister who loved her very much! Leona is an inspiration through her blog to many but I believe it may be Tammy who much of the time inspired her as well. My condolences.
Sorry to read about Tammy's passing.
Tammy was a co-worker at the USPS for
quite a few years. When I met her she
was a carrier Tammy Avny was her name
then. She later married Jim. Please
know that she was very well liked.

Very sorry to hear of Tamara's passing. I met Tamara at a Scott High reunion she attended with her husband. She stood out being so beautiful and charming. Vickie Impavido
