Mary Beth: Belated condolences. I still recall the tour Tom gave of the E&O Brewery before renovations began, probably 1986, and the enthusiasm the project generated for North Siders and beer lovers alike. I spent a lot of time at the brewery, not so much drinking beer, but learning how to make it and writing about the beer for the Post-Gazette. I think Sophie Masloff tapped the first Penn Pilsner at the brewery. I met you as well and fondly remember our discussions as, including one about a certain Brit bartender.
