Dear Crist Family, my most heartfelt condolences. During my time at P/H, meeting Mr.Crist (I could never bring myself to call him Jim) my first day @ 6:00am changed my life. I was just out of school. I will never forget his words of wisdom, laughter and teaching. RIP Mr. Crist. And Thank You.

Dick and Family. We are so sorry for your loss. I have fond memories of him during our college baseball days. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

Jimmy and family,

I always considered myself very fortunate to grow up playing ball with Jimmy. Not only because he was such a good player, but because I got to see Jimmy's family a lot over the years. To me, Mr. Crist was an incredibly positive role model. His words of advice and encouragement over all the years we played were consistently reassuring. That wasn't because others didn't do the same, but more because they were coming from Mr. Crist. His demeanor was one all people should strive for. I had the good fortune of bumping into Mr. and Mrs. Crist last year at a Little League game in South Fayette. It seemed as though they hadn't changed a bit, and I can't tell you what a joy it was to sit and talk to them for over an hour. I'm glad I had that chance. You were truly blessed to have him in your lives over the years and he will be greatly missed.

My deepest sympathy,
Tommy McGuire
