I was so sorry to hear about the passing of your wife. I always enjoyed talking to her in at the store. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the family.

Judy and Joann my deepest sympathy to you.
I just want to let you know how sorry I am for your loss. Janet and I go back to kindergarten at John Minadeo and thru 12 years at St. Rosalia. She was my first friend at 5 years old and she was almost 5 when we met.
The last time I saw Janet was a year ago and we talked about her family and what we did growing up and that neither one of us had retired yet.
Janet did a lot thru our childhood years, biking all over Sq.Hill and Greenfield. Walking to the show in Homestead down Brownshill Rd and then across Homestead bridge. Going Trick or Treating our senior year of high school as we said it was the last time we could be considered kids. Spending 3-4 hours on Good Friday at church, Sleep over's, Boy & girl parties at your house. Eating Red Velvet cakes your grandfather made.
She and I were asked by the 8th grade football coach to get a group of girls together to cheer on the side lines for the boy's football team. I think we were the 1st one to do that for St. R's.
Even though she did not place basketball she was at every game as she was the timer and score keeper along with Diane L.
I was happy that she found that special someone later in life; I sent her a card with my best wishes.
There are a lot of good memories. Janet my first friend, rest in peace and God bless all her family.

My deepest sympathy to all of Janet's family. I enjoyed the opportunities I had to spend time with her and I know she had an amazing impact on the Pittsburgh Community, first as a teacher and later as a principal. I'm praying you feel God's presence with you and that you be comforted during this difficult time with the understanding that she is now at rest and with Him.
